Oakville Charity Hockey Tournament

Smilezone 24 HR Charity Hockey Tournament

I think I have finally recouped from last weekends amazing 24 Hr hockey tournament put on by Smilezone Charity which is led by Adam Graves, former NHL New York Rangers Hockey.  The event took place at the Joshua’s Creek hockey arena in beautiful Oakville, Ontario.  The players were lining up outside the Glow With Us Mobile Massage booth for some much needed massage therapy as they had lots of hockey to play.  From sore backs, to pulled hamstrings, I was definitely kept busy for two days!  It was great to see young and older players, in good shape and not so good come together for the children!

What a great group of individuals that came together, from sponsors and supporters  to celebrity hockey players such as Adam Graves, to Ron Maclean, Walter Gretzky and Angela James, and more!  I was humbled to see the hard work, dedication and outstanding sportsmanship in uniting and coming together to achieve an amazing goal!
The Smilezone Foundation’s mission is to create, build and transform areas in hospitals, private treatment and development centres, and children’s clinics in order to improve the lives of children facing illness, disabilities, and physical and emotional obstacles.

I look forward to seeing what this great charity accomplishes in the years to come, some major transformations is hospitals and outpatient settings will be beautiful.  I love that I had the opportunity to be a part of this Oakville  charity event, and look forward to helping out more in the future! Now its time for my massage!
