While life these days is easier than, say during the Industrial Revolution, the knotted muscles, tight backs and stress headaches that can come after a long day’s work are still with us.

While no one welcomes these aches and pains, they have fuelled the success of Thai Odyssey Group.

What started 10 years ago in a 100 sq ft make-shift kiosk in the Centrepoint mall in Petaling Jaya, with only four massage chairs, has since grown to become the biggest chain of massage spas in Malaysia.

It all began when Thai Odyssey’s founder and managing director Leon Chuah decided to holiday in Thailand as well as look for business opportunities.
